Christmas at Kew runs from 15th November to 7th January. Brand-new installations will showcase Kew Gardens in a whole new light, as the UK’s original festive light trail returns to the world-famous botanic gardens in London this November.

Since the inaugural Christmas at Kew trail in 2013, this unique event has paved the way for festive displays across the country. This year’s trail is a celebration of nature by night, bringing Kew’s incredible natural architecture to life. Visitors can expect the return of seasonal favourites alongside immersive new installations, seven of which are making their UK debut. Not to be missed, Christmas at Kew is enchanting seasonal experience for everyone to enjoy.

📅 16th November
The Ealing Book Festival, an exciting and ambitious new cultural event for the borough, in partnership with Pizhanger Manor, will launch on 16 November. It will be followed, in 2024, with a fuller programme of events, workshops and activities for all ages and for all book lovers.

To celebrate the launch, Pitzhanger Manor is hosting two events. Author Judith Eagle and illustrator Kim Geyer require the help of all young detectives and artists immediately after school — to solve the mystery of a dangerous art heist set in the 1950s. Later that day, writer and ex-BBC journalist Rory Cellan-Jones speaks to former BBC journalist Rebecca Jones about his newly published book Ruskin Park.

📅 17th November
A team of local designers from the former All Original independent gift shop have formed Home of Modern Makers who are holding their second market at Kingsdown Methodist Hall (w13 9PR) on 18th November between 3pm & 8pm. Shop local for Christmas!
